Projects

Every project, four ways to read it.

The same work shows up as a board for the stand-in, a list for the person doing it, a timeline for the account lead and a calendar for the client call. Change it in one view and it changes everywhere.

  • Subtasks and dependencies. Mark “QA” as waiting on “gateway keys” and it stays flagged until the blocker clears.
  • Due dates that warn early. Amber two days out, red when it slips, never a surprise on Friday.
  • Files where the work is. Designs, specs and client feedback attach to the task, not a chat thread.

Sprints

Sprints that know what actually merged.

Backlogs, story points, velocity and burndown, linked to GitHub and GitLab pull requests. A task moves to review when its PR opens and to done when it merges, so the chart reflects code, not optimism.

  • PR-linked status. Branch names like NF-201 connect automatically.
  • Capacity-aware planning. See committed points against each person's real availability.
  • Honest velocity. Averages from the last six sprints, with carry-over shown separately.

AI summaries

The stand-up, already written.

Every morning each person and team gets a short brief, written from yesterday's tasks, comments and commits. It says what moved, what's stuck and what's due. It never invents progress, and every line links back to its source.

If it didn't happen in a task, a comment or a commit, it isn't in the brief.

Team load

A forecast for who's underwater.

Estimated hours against each person's capacity, this week and next. When someone runs hot, Techdrools suggests which tasks to move and to whom. Managers approve, dismiss or change it.

  • Suggestions, not orders. Nothing moves without a person saying yes.
  • Not a performance score. Load is about planning, never about ranking people.

No. The Workload View suggests moves, such as shifting two API tasks from someone at 130% to someone at 70%. A manager approves or dismisses every suggestion. Nothing is reassigned on its own.

Yes. Client logins on the Sunday Edition open a shared view scoped to one project. Internal comments, hours and other clients stay hidden.

Yes. Pull requests from GitHub and GitLab link to tasks and sprints, the daily brief can post to a Slack channel, and due dates sync with Google Calendar.

Yes. Import Jira projects, Trello boards or a CSV and Excel sheet. Statuses, assignees, due dates and comments come across, so the first brief has real history to read.

No. Timesheets are optional and switched on per team. There are no screenshots, no keystroke logging and no activity scores.
