Everything a task needsTask List

My tasks

Everything assigned to you across every project, sorted by due date and priority.

Subtasks

Break work down without losing the parent. Progress rolls up automatically.

Dependencies

Mark a task as waiting on another, inside or outside your team. Blockers surface in the brief.

Due date warnings

Amber two days ahead, red when late. Due soon tasks rise to the top.

Files and comments

Designs, specs and review notes on the task, with @mentions that notify the right person.

Quiet notifications

Choose what pings you. Everything else waits for tomorrow’s brief.

The full storyTask List

A good task list answers one question before coffee: what should I do first?

The Task List is the personal side of Techdrools. Managers look at boards and workload; people mostly live here, in a list of what is theirs and when it is due.

Dependencies can point outside the team. "Waiting on client: payment gateway keys" is a real task with a date, so it shows up in the client update and the daily brief until it is cleared.

Recurring tasks handle the routine: monthly reports, weekly backups, retainer check-ins. They appear on schedule with the last run’s notes attached.
