A morning paper, written from yesterday’s work.

Every morning, each person and team gets a short summary of what moved, what is stuck and what is due. It is written only from real tasks, comments and commits, and every line links to its source.

What goes in the briefAI Daily Brief

Personal brief

Your closed tasks, new assignments, review requests and today’s deadlines.

Team brief

What the team shipped, what is blocked and who is overloaded, in one page.

Project brief

Progress against the launch date, with the open risks named.

Sourced lines

Every sentence links to the task, comment, PR or commit behind it.

Your schedule

Pick the time, the days and where it arrives: the app, email or a Slack channel.

Nothing invented

If there is no activity, the brief says so. It never fills gaps with guesses.

How it worksFour steps

Read

Overnight, Techdrools reads yesterday’s tasks, comments and commits.

Write

It drafts a brief for each person, team and project.

Link

Each line is tied to the item it came from.

Deliver

Briefs arrive at 8:00 am in the app, email or Slack.

The full storyAI Daily Brief

If it didn’t happen in a task, a comment or a commit, it isn’t in the brief.

The brief replaces the round of "what did you do yesterday" with a page you can read in under two minutes. Stand-ups, if you keep them, can start from the blockers instead of the status.

Briefs are written in plain language and kept short on purpose. A personal brief is usually five to eight lines. A team brief adds a headline, workload notes and the day’s deadlines.

Because every line is sourced, a manager can click through from "payment gateway integration blocked" straight to the comment that explains why.

Responsible AI and dataOur commitments

Written from real work

Briefs and client updates are written only from your team’s tasks, comments and commits, with links to sources.

People review client updates

Anything that leaves your workspace is a draft until someone on your team reads it and sends it.

Not a performance rating

Workload notes help managers balance work. They are never used to score or rank people.

Private by default

Workspace data is encrypted, never sold and never used to train models for other customers.
